The nitty gritty (I will post a full birth story later):
* My water broke on Wednesday, June 22 at 9:45 am - the day before my due date. I wasn't having contractions though, so I was put on Pitocin. That stuff is EVIL! Benjamin arrived at 2:43 am on Thursday, June 23 -- right on time!
* He weighed 8 lbs 9 1/2 oz and was 20 1/2" long
* My goal had been no meds. I ended up with 2 doses of Fentanyl throughout labor and I got an epidural an hour before he was born. I was only 6 cm and exhausted. The Pitocin had my contractions going off the chart and every 1-2 minutes at the end. The thing is.... The epidural NEVER KICKED IN! I got a little relief on my right side, but not on my left. When my OB got there, he said they were going to put my legs in the stirrups. Without even thinking, I did it myself. He looked at me funny, and asked the nurse if I had chosen not to get it. David said "No, she got it. Why?" Because she shouldn't be able to do that!!!
* Benjamin had the cord wrapped two times around his neck, but responded well to a little oxygen and stimulation. I didn't get him on my chest right away like I wanted, but I didn't care once I knew he was okay.
We came home on Saturday the 25th. We had a few problems with jaundice and colic the first few nights, but he's gotten that under control now and things are going great. I sit and just stare -- I can't take my eyes off him, knowing that David and I created him together.
And, a few pictures!

I promise to try to post more -- David goes back to work on Friday so it will be a transition not having an extra set of hands at home! But I will do my best! :-)
